Welcome to the Sas Hill Protected Area! Here you will meet the inhabitants of the living museum of the Hungarian capital. We hope that your visit to this unique area that was amongst the first in the country to gain environmental protection in 1958, will become a memorable event of your stay. As it can be seen from the pictures, natural values became restricted to a very small area during the last decades. In order to protect what remains of them, we ask everyone to:

 

keep to the trails! These grassy habitats are rather sensitive to trampling, it seriously endangers their persistence.

 

leave all living or inanimate natural values in their places – photographs preserve their beauty much better!

 

place all items of garbage into the bins or take them home with you – empty wrappers and bottles can hardly take up more space than the full ones you brought!

 

Natural values should be protected everywhere, at all times! Experiences gained here can be passed on to your friends at home, siding them with the case of nature conservation.
